2005 Festival of Fruit

September 5 to 10, 2005
Santa Cruz, California

The five Northern California chapters of CRFG and the North American Fruit Explorers (NAFEX) invite you to attend the 2005 Festival of Fruit—Eyes on Apples! The Festival begins with tours on four days, ranging from Winters to the Santa Clara Valley to Watsonville and Santa Cruz. Twenty-three speakers will give presentations on Friday afternoon and Saturday. Festival attendees can meet new friends from many regions of the state and country based on shared fruit-growing interest. The beautiful photos of the Fruit Shoot competition will be on display, and awards will be announced for unusual service as well as for winning the CRFG chapter trophy. Twenty-five specially grafted commemorative trees—'Hawaii' apples—will be available prior to the Festival, and at a silent auction at the Festival.
