COVER ADS: Inside back or inside front cover (1/2, 2/3 or full page only) add 10% to above rates. Outside back cover (2/3 page only, color only) add 10% to above rates.

AD INSERTS: We do not accept ads designed to be clipped from the publication (e.g., no coupons). We can accommodate inserts or can poly-bag promotional material (flat only) as a “ride-along” with the magazine. Call the Fruit Gardener editor at 318-640-4505 or send e-mail to asking about additional cost; both the work and mailing weight must be considered. Multiple insertion or a single ride-along paid in advance will be discounted an additional 5%.

GUIDELINES: CRFG will do layout and typesetting (on black and white ads only) without additional charge for advertisers who commit to at least 6 insertions. Line art: Camera-ready line art (typeset, black-and-white copy) must be supplied in exactly the dimensions shown above. Logos must be camera-ready. Electronic: Advertisers capable of producing technically acceptable ad material in electronic form must furnish it in one or any of these formats: Encapsulated PostScript (.eps), Portable Document Format (.pdf), Tagged Image File Format (.tif) Adobe InDesign, Adobe PageMaker, Quark Xpress or Macromedia FreeHand.   • Film negative -- right-reading, emulsion down, min. 133-line screen

  • Composed film negatives -- right-reading, emulsion down, min. 133- or 150-line screen with color proofs

Notes:

Extensions of deadlines are granted only by special request. If ads require production work, ad copy and materials must be submitted at contract time. Proofs will be furnished by e-mail in .pdf format only and response is required within 5 business days. Changes other than corrections will not be accepted after materials due date except by arrangement with the editor.
